The Director General of the Greater Ohafia Development Authority,GODA, Engr. Obinna Odum, has charged youths of Asaga Ohafia to embrace stakeholders’ engagement as a pathway to improved community service and sustainable development.
Odum gave the charge during the Asaga Youth Association (AYA) National Delegates Meeting, held at the Bishop Anthony Nwedo Pastoral Centre, BCA Road, Umuahia. He urged the youths to consistently seek direction and collaboration from all parties involved in the development of the community, noting that such engagement would provide them with a relevant compass to navigate their responsibilities and aspirations.
“The future of Asaga lies in the hands of its young people,” Odum stated. “But without synergy and inclusive dialogue with stakeholders, their efforts may lack direction. We must work together.”
The event, organized by the Asaga Youth Association (AYA), brought together the crème de la crème of the community, including political figures, technocrats, and youth representatives, all united in their vision for a more progressive Asaga Ohafia.
