In a show of solidarity and goodwill, members of the “Ohafia School of Thought” yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA), Engr. Obinna Odum, extended their heartfelt congratulations on his appointment, and pledged support for the Authority’s development initiatives.

The “Ohafia School of Thought” is a revered union of academic elites from diverse disciplines, committed to partnering effectively with government institutions to shape society towards self-realization.

During the visit, which took place in GODA HOUSE, Amaekpu Ohafia, the delegation expressed profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti, for appointing a credible and competent individual to such a strategic position. They lauded the governor’s vision in assembling a team of capable leaders to drive his administration’s transformative development agenda.

They offered fervent prayers for the Director General and Abia government institutions, asking for divine wisdom, strength, and guidance as they undertake responsibilities. The people assured Engr. Odum of their unwavering support and readiness to collaborate with GODA in advancing the administration’s goals.

In his response, Engr. Odum thanked the delegation for their encouraging visit and their pledge to support the government of Dr. Alex Otti. He emphasized the importance of sustained prayers for all public officials and used the opportunity to highlight several key projects being undertaken by GODA.

Among the notable initiatives, he mentioned the near-completion of the Amaekpu ring roads and the construction of the Ezeukwu bridge in Bende. He also announced the commencement of work on the long-abandoned NDDC road linking Asaga to Amangwu, through Amuke Ohafia.

Engr. Odum encouraged the group to maintain their renewed commitment to supporting the present administration, reaffirming that Governor Alex Otti's administration remains dedicated to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people.
