The Asaga Development Union (ADU) has expressed deep appreciation to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR, for the recent approval and commencement of the reconstruction of the Asaga-Amuke Road/Ugwu Iyebi Bridge in Ohafia LGA.
In an official statement signed by the President General of ADU, Chief Okpa Ibekwem Okpa, alongside the Secretary General, Barr. Obinna Kalu Onugu and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Stanley Mba, the community hailed the Governor's commitment to rural infrastructure, describing it as a “show of love” to the people of Asaga and Amuke Ohafia.
The people also acknowledged the role of the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA) in advancing the project and appreciated the Director General of GODA, Elder Engr. "We are proud and happy that GODA has commenced the reconstruction of the road, and we are full of appreciation," the statement read.
The ADU also prayed for divine wisdom and strength for the Governor as he continues to roll out critical infrastructure projects across the state. They reaffirmed their unwavering support and cooperation to ensure the successful execution of the road project and urged the extension of similar efforts to other vital roads in the community.
