The Director General of the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA) and founder of the Obicare Charity Foundation, Engr. Obinna Odum, has reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring that all road projects meet the highest standards. He made this assurance while receiving members of the Alex Otti Initiative Foundation, who paid him a courtesy visit earlier today.

The delegation, led by Hon. D. K. Nkole, congratulated Engr. Odum on his well-deserved appointment as the DG of GODA and commended him for the ongoing construction of the Amaekpu Internal Ring Road.

Hon. Nkole, speaking on behalf of the foundation, expressed confidence in Engr. Odum's capacity, describing him as a man with the fear of God. The group, during this interaction, pledged their unwavering support for GODA, emphasizing the need to strengthen the existing relationship with its Director General, Engr. Odum.

Also speaking, Chief Okoro Awa, secretary of the foundation, applauded the state government’s initiative on teachers’ recruitment. He prayed for a massive recruitment exercise that would prioritize qualified candidates from the area.

In response, Engr. Odum encouraged applicants of the ongoing teachers recruitment program, who are also members of the “Alex Otti Initiative Foundation,” to prepare adequately for the recruitment test, emphasizing that employment would be strictly based on merit. He assured that the government would not entertain any form of preferential treatment in the process.

Furthermore, the DG reaffirmed that GODA would maintain a zero-tolerance policy on project compromises, urging the group to continue supporting Governor Alex Otti’s administration in its drive for infrastructural development.

In a vote of thanks, Mr. Uma, a member of the delegation, appreciated Engr. Odum for granting them an audience and prayed for divine sustenance in his leadership and developmental efforts.
